UPSforLESS WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

All new products sold by UPSforLESS are covered by the direct manufacturer's warranty, usually 2-3 years. Please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty and replacement issues.

All other refurbished products sold by UPSforLESS are covered by both the UPSforLESS 30 day Lemon Warranty and 1 year Standard Warranty.

 


If product is defective:

  • “Lemon Warranty” - Within 30 days from date of receipt by customer
    • We will arrange to have the defective item picked up and brought back to our facilities at our expense.
    • At the same time we will ship a replacement product, at our expense, that is identical or better than the unit being returned.
    • If we are unable to ship replacement product, we will issue a full refund including any shipping and handling costs paid by the customer at time of purchase.
    • Lemon warranty coverage for first 30 days and standard warranty of 1-year will restart again on the replacement item from the date of receipt of the replacement product by the customer.

     

  • “Standard Warranty” - Between 31 and 365 days from date of receipt by customer
    • Customer has to ship the defective UPS back to us at their expense.
    • We will repair the unit and return to customer at our expense.
    • If we are unable to repair, we will ship replacement to customer at our expense.
    • If we are unable to repair or ship replacement product, we will issue a full refund including any shipping and handling costs paid by the customer at time of purchase.
    • Warranty coverage of 1 year is in effect from the date of receipt of the originally purchased item.

 

If product is NOT defective:

Any refurbished, non-defective item may be turned to us within 1 year from date of receipt, subject to the following terms. This does not apply to new units or special order items: 

 

  • Within 30 days from date of receipt by customer
    • Customer will ship non-defective product back to us at their expense.
    • 10% restocking fee will apply.
    • Once received in good working order, we will issue refund for original purchase price less the restocking.
    • Refunds are not given on shipping & handling charges.

     

  • Between 31 and 90 days from date of receipt by customer
    • Customer will ship non-defective product back to us at their expense.
    • 20% restocking fee will apply.
    • Once received in good working order, we will issue refund for original purchase price less the restocking.
    • Refunds are not given on shipping & handling charges.

     

  • Between 91 and 365 days from date of receipt by customer
    • Customer will ship non-defective product back to us at their expense.
    • Cash/credit card refunds will not be given – refunds will only be in the form of a store credit against future purchases.
    • Cost of batteries will not be refunded since the batteries are a consumable and cannot be resold as “new”. The current price of replacement batteries will be deducted from the original purchase price.
    • 25% restocking fee will apply on the balance.
    • Once received in good working order, we will issue a store credit for the original purchase price less the restocking charge and battery cost.
    • Refunds are not given on shipping & handling charges.
