Medical Grade UPS's
| Clean, safe reliable power is critical to the health care industry. Medical grade UPS's are designed to meet or exceed the demanding safety standards set by UL 60601-1 medical safety standards and CSA requierements for medical/health-care grade equipment. These UPS's need the ability to provide clean, reliable power when operating with unstable utility power sources such as generators, and to provide low leakage current to minimize the risk of sparking in oxygen-rich patient-vicinity environments. The UPS's also require a low audible noise level, the ability to output pure sine wave power within one percent of the nominal voltage requirement under typical loads, full electrical isolation under National Electrical Code Article 250-5d and Galvanic isolation to prevent ground loops. |
