The GXT2 takes the outstanding features and unmatched reliability of the UPStation GXT series and puts it into a smaller 2U cabinet. A true on-line UPS, GXT2 includes power factor correction, frequency conversion, unlimited external battery connectability, and internal automatic / manual bypass capability. For maximum flexibility, the GXT2 can be installed as a space-saving rack-mounted unit or a space-saving, free standing tower.

Battery
- Battery Recharge: The UPS contains a battery recharge rate designed to prolong battery life. Recharge time for UPS internal batteries is five (5) hours maximum to 95% capacity after a complete discharge into full load.
Surge Protection
- Electrostatic Discharge: The UPS is able to withstand an electrostatic discharge compliant to ENC61000-4-2, level 4, for 120 VAC, 208 VAC, and 230 VAC units (15 kV through air, 8 kV contact) without damage and will not affect the connected load
- MOVs will be rated 300 Volt, 150 Joules minimum connected L-G and N-G.

System Indicators
- The "Fault" LED indicator illuminates red to indicate a UPS fault condition.
- The "Battery" LED indicator illuminates amber to indicate the UPS is operating from battery power.
- The "Bypass" LED indicator illuminates amber to indicate the UPS is operating on Bypass power.
- An audible alarm is provided and activated by any of the above alarm conditions.
- The "UPS ON" LED indicator illuminates green to indicate the UPS inverter is operating and supplying power.
- The "AC Input" LED indicator illuminates green to indicate the UPS is operating from utility / mains power.
Communications
- The UPS contains a DB9F (9 pin female) connector on the rear panel to allow UPS status communications to a computer system. The DB9F contains photo couplers to signal on battery and low battery operational status.
